The Bosch code pad is very easy to understand and operate.

 

When leaving your premises, simply hold down the “away” button for two seconds and the alarm will turn on after a short delay. This delay time is set when the alarm is installed so you have sufficient time to leave the premises before the alarm turns on.

 

When you carrice at your premises, you enter the four digit code and press the “away” button.  Example, you would press 1 2 3 4 and the “away” button if your code was 1234.

 

You only have to enter the code when you are entering the premises, not when leaving.

 

In a residential environment, when going to bed, you simply press the “stay” button. If you would like to use the night mode, the technician when installing your system will set the alarm up so at night you can have some detectors on and some off.  Business premises can also use this “partial arming mode” such as, office off and warehouse on etc.

 

The large easy to read buttons are also backlit at night so they are easy to see and feel during the day or at night.

 

The emergency buttons are activated by holding down the two appropriate Fire, Medical or Panic buttons.

The DS940Q Quad motion sensor from Bosch Security Systems is available as a hard wired detector or a wireless detector and combines two separate pyroelectric element sensors, the equivalent of two sets of eyes protecting your premises.

 

By combining First Step Processing (a unique and intelligent method of analysing motion), the DS940Q analyses movement size, direction and movement timing which eliminates the need for complex adjustments.

 

The DS940Q is effectively two motion sensors in one as each detection element has it's own signal processing amplifier which works independently of the other. Both elements must be activated for an alarm to occur. This provides unparalleled catch performance with exceptional immunity from false alarms.

Numerous detector options are available however this detector is ideal in most residential applications.

The DS835iT sensor from Bosch Security Systems is available as a hard wired detector or a wireless detector. The wireless version is a little larger in size.

 

This detector is ideal in areas where the environment where it is situated demands a more intelligent detector, These areas for example are garages, sheds, factories etc.

 

This detector is also available as a “Pet Friendly” sensor being

able to determine the difference between a cat, dog etc or a human target.

 

The sensor incorporates PIR (passive infrared detection) as well as microwave detection (radar type detection) to give outstanding performance in demanding locations.

 

With the DS835iT appearing the same as the DS94Q, all sensors are visually the same.

(recommended for safety and convenience)

With the remote control fobs, you can turn the alarm on and off without having to use the code pad.

 

This makes it far more convenient especially when arriving home or at the office with young children or carrying parcels etc.
