Additional detectors or reed switches  may be required for extra offices, a mezzanine level and or other storage or IT rooms etc.

A combination of  hard wired and wireless detectors can be used for maximum coverage, ease of installation and cost saving.

 

Wireless detectors are quicker to install which means a less expensive installation  They can also be easily relocated to a different position should you wish to change the floor layout such as relocating stock or plant which might otherwise block the view of the detector.

 

Hard wired detectors can be installed subject to an on-site inspection. There may be additional costs of wiring and conduit as well as the possible costs of requiring a scissor lift. These costs can easily add an extra $1,000 or more for labour, conduit, brackets etc.

 

Typical installation costs would be from *$669 or *$969 with two detectors for the office or the factory with additional costs for extra detectors of between $165 to $235 each depending on hard wired or wireless detectors being used.

 

The use of “Dual Path” technology should always be considered so your alarm system can communicate with the monitoring room even if the phone lines are cut. Ask us about this added security protection.
